Year-end giving tips!
2024 is quickly coming to an end! THANK YOU to everyone who has generously partnered with us through a financial contribution this year. Our work would be impossible without you!
The Center for Client Safety is relying on your generous year-end gifts as the foundation for our work in 2025. Following are some tips on year-end giving:
Gifting of IRA Required Minimum Distributions
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from IRAs can be applied to offset IRA Required Minimum Distributions! With QCDs, donors aged 70 1/2 or older can donate up to $105,000 annually to charities directly from their IRAs. A married couple can donate up to $210,000 annually. QCDs are NOT taxable to the donors and QCSs offset IRA Required Minimum Distributions. Initiating a QCD is as easy as directing your IRA custodian to issue a check payable to the Center for Client Safety. Consult your tax and/or financial advisor for more information. We encourage those considering a gift of stock or an IRA Charitable Gift to do so as quickly as possible to assure their gift is completed for the 2024 tax year. Our EIN is 84-4145996.
Gifts of Appreciated Stock
To request stock gift instructions or to notify the Center for Client Safety of a gift of stock, please contact Amy Gehrke, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, by email at amy@centerforclientsafety.org or call her at (414) 248-0522 with complete donor information (name, address, phone number), the name(s) of the stock to be gifted, the number of shares, and the date you intend to make the gift. Checks
Checks must be received at the CCS offices or P.O. Box or be postmarked by Monday, December 30th to be counted in 2024. Mail checks to: P.O. Box 11356, Louisville, KY 40251
Online Giving
Online giving is easy! Simply visit our donation page to make a gift via credit card or ACH withdrawal before midnight on December 31st.
