The Abortion industry: a deeper evil
My husband and I are true crime junkies. Our YouTube subscriptions are filled with shows like Crime Storytime, Code Blue Cam, and Midwest Crime. Some of the videos are shocking and some are surprisingly hilarious. A new video we watched a few nights ago, however, left my husband and me profoundly disturbed. It reminded me, again, of everyone and everything we’re fighting for in the pro-life movement and here at the Center for Client Safety.
In 2015, a group of young women at Muskingum University in Ohio made a horrifying discovery outside their sorority house. Wrapped in a garbage bag, surrounded by trash, was the body of a newborn baby girl. Police were called and suspicion immediately fell on 20-year-old sorority member, Emile Weaver.
Friends had suspected Emile was pregnant, but the only two people who knew that she was, indeed, pregnant were Emile and her ex-boyfriend. When interviewed by the police, at first Emile claimed she wasn’t sure if she was pregnant or not. It wasn’t until police confronted her with the fact they had her computer that Emile began to tell something close to the truth.
The account of the birth and death of Emile’s baby is heartbreaking. Her baby girl was born in a toilet and left, for a time, on a bathroom floor. When the baby girl stopped moving, Emile assumed she was dead. Emily put her baby in a garbage bag and left her outside the sorority house. The baby’s autopsy told the real story, though. Emile’s baby died of asphyxiation, meaning she was still alive and fighting for her life when she was left outside in the garbage bag.
The most shocking thing about Emile’s police interview as well as her communications with others was her complete lack of remorse. At one point she tells a detective, “I didn’t have much concern for the baby, I was more concerned about my well-being.”
This story is shocking and sad, but is it really surprising?
The abortion industry, of course, has convinced millions of Americans that women’s “bodily autonomy” trumps the rights of preborn children. Through multi-million dollar public relations campaigns, they have de-humanized preborn children and led many to believe that abortion is healthcare and that the abortion industry truly cares for women.
We all know these are horrible lies. Nothing could be further from the truth. Emile Weaver is a perfect example of the millions of women who have been corrupted by the lies of the abortion industry.
There is a deeper evil to this industry, however. At the Center for Client Safety, we know that most abortions take place in dirty, disgusting facilities where abortion providers are, often, breaking multiple laws as well as endangering women’s health. As we say here at CCS, when one’s business is killing the most innocent, breaking other laws is often no big deal.
The abortion industry is built on lies, lawlessness, selfishness, and death. It is no surprise that this industry is infecting many in our society with these same things. This is why reporting all of the wrongdoing of the abortion industry, holding those breaking the law accountable, and shutting down abortion businesses is so critical.
At the Center for Client Safety, we are doing more than just stopping abortion businesses by holding them accountable to the law. We are shining a light on the reality of the abortion industry – that its evil stretches far beyond killing children. It exploits women. It operates outside the law. Many of its “doctors” have criminal histories. The list goes on and on. By exposing the true extent of the abortion industry’s wrongdoing we can open the eyes of those who’ve been fooled and shut it down.
Finally, we are bringing justice to and protecting the privacy of women who’ve been harmed by the abortion industry. Oftentimes, women want to forget their abortion experiences or don’t believe there is anything that can be done about those who’ve harmed them. Malpractice lawsuits expose their ordeals to the public. Our unique strategy allows women, in the majority of cases, to maintain their anonymity while we do the hard work of holding those who’ve harmed them accountable.
Emile’s story is just one example of how the evil and lawlessness of the abortion industry is permeating our society. We don’t know what, exactly, was going through Emile’s head the day she killed her newborn baby girl. It is easy to guess, however, that the lies of our culture of death played a very, very big role.
At the Center for Client Safety, we will not stop until every abortion facility is closed and every eye is opened. We are thankful for our friends and supporters, like you. Together, we can work towards a culture where tragedies like Emile’s are a distant memory.
You can see the video about Emile Weaver here. Be warned, though — it is not an easy watch.
