Florida Abortion Business License Suspended After CFCS Investigation
(May 20, 2022) Reprotection, a national pro-life watchdog group, aided in an investigation that lead to the emergency suspension of a license issued Friday, May 20th of a Pensacola abortion facility. Florida’s Agency of Health Care Administration issued the emergency suspension order to American Family Planning Abortion Clinic on 6115 Village Oaks Drive owned by Integrity Medical Care LLC.
Along with Emerald Coast Coalition for Life and other local pro-life leaders, Reprotection highlighted the dangerous medical practices and questionable emergency procedures of the American Family Planning Abortion Clinic to the appropriate agencies.
After AHCA received the information provided by Reprotection and local pro-life advocates specifically regarding the lack of appropriate emergency protocol, their own investigation uncovered even greater negligent behavior. Two women had major complications from their abortion and the abortionist failed to contact emergency doctors. The abortionist also claimed ignorance of emergency protocol.
Missy Martinez- Stone, CEO of Reprotection, says, “For over two years, Reprotection has been investigating and reporting to the authorities the misconduct of the American Family Planning Abortion Clinic. I am grateful that women in Pensacola are now protected from another dangerous abortion business. The supposed ignorance of the abortionist directly led to the harm experienced by these women. State agencies put safeguards in place to protect patients, and more often than not, Reprotection has found that complaints against abortionists are disregarded. Thankfully Reprotection led to action by the agency.”
